Ascension
Description: Ascension is an adventure/horror game in the form of an interactive novel, combining narrative adventure and exploration with arcade action. Retrace one soul's journey through the stages of Hell (based on various religious mythologies), in an attempt to avoid Oblivion and ascend to Heaven. Meet the denizens of Hell, from the lowest minions to Lucifer's exalted generals, while avoiding obstacles that threaten to trap your soul in eternal suffering.
Warning: While this game is not visually graphic in any real sense, it does contain explicit themes of sex, violence, and blasphemy (in increasing order). Recommended for mature players.
Update: The beta version of Ascension is on the VX Ace platform and is now out of date. I am in the process of converting Ascension to MV (and making improvements as I go along). For the latest MV release, look in the sidebar to the right.

Note: You need RPG Maker VX Ace's Run Time Package (RTP) to play this game. You can download it here. You only need to do this once, and after it's installed, you'll be able to play any and all games created with RPG Maker VX Ace. (This significantly helps reduce download sizes).
